This recipe is great and easy to make. (Makes about 5 lip balms)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 tsp Beeswax
  • 1 1/2 tsp of Shea Butter
1 1/2 tsp of cocoa butter
    1 tsp of coconut oil
1 tsp of sweet almond oil or calendula oil
    1/8 tsp Vit E
Optional, a pinch of non-pasteurized honey
16 to 20 drops of Pure and Natural Essential Oils.  (I personnaly use Young Living YLTG )

Preparations:

Melt beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter,

coconut oil and sweet almond (or calandula) oils in

a double boiler.

Make sure the mixture doesn’t boil.

NB: I am not a big fan of microwave owen, but if you wish, it is also

possible to use the microwave.

Add the Vit E and the unpasteurized Honey

Stir with a spoon until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Add the essential oils at the very last minute.

  • HE Lime 10 drops
  • HE Peppermint 2 drops
  • HE Lavender 3-4 drops
NB: You can change the aroma of essential oils as you wish. Be creative

If you want luscious lips, add cinnamon bark (essential oils)

Immediately pour into the container and wait until the mixture solidifies.

You can also reuse old ball-shaped containers.

First, you must wash the inside of the ball, then pour the mixture into it.  Add enough lip balm to slightly cover the plastic mesh. Close the ball and turn it upside down and leave in like this until the lip balm has hardened.
